The Suzuki World Cup 2007 A Tremendous Event in
Tokyo, Japan, April 15, 2007
The 18th annual Suzuki World Cup is now completed, proceedings began with the
arrival of the international delegations and concluded Sunday, April 15 with the Finals. This year
we welcomed over 140 athletes from five continents and over 20 countries, including from,
Australia, Thailand, Spain, China, Vietnam, New Zealand,
Japan, Italy, Indonesia, Great Britain, Germany, Venezuela,
Brazil, and Argentina. Cash prizes were awarded to the top-three placing athletes in
the Adult Division, and awards and plaques were presented to the top-six placing athletes in the
Youth Division.
Catogories of competition include both Youth and Adult athletes:
Youth Division Youth I (age fifteen (15) to age seventeen (17) by December 31 of 2006)
Youth I Girls Single (one (1) girl athlete)
Youth I Trio (three (3) athletes: any combination of boys and/or girls)
Youth Division Youth I I (age twelve (12) to age fourteen (14) by December 31 of 2006)
Youth II Single (co-ed, one (1) boy or girl athlete)
Youth II Trio (three (3) athletes: any combination of boys and/or girls)
Adult Division (age eighteen (18) and over by December 31 of 2006)
Individual Women (one (1) female athlete)
Individual Men (one (1) male athlete)
Mixed Pairs (two (2) athletes: one (1) male and one (1) female)
Trios (three (3) athletes: any combination of males and females)
