WANT TO COMPETE IN THE SUZUKI WORLD CUP?
Register to compete in the Open Seed Qualifying Round
To be Held Friday June 13, 2008 at the Tokyo Gymnasium in Tokyo, Japan
The International Aerobic Federation (IAF) is honored to extend an invitation to sportaerobics athletes worldwide who would like to compete in the Suzuki World Cup but have no IAF-affiliate group or point of entry in his/her respective country. Please participate in the OpenSeed in one of the following ways:
A. Register to Compete in the OpenSeed Qualifying Round, to be held Friday June 13, 2008. The OpenSeed Qualifying Round is open to athletes from Non-IAF affiliate countries. Top three (3) athletes in each category from the OpenSeed Qualifying Round will proceed to the Semi-Finals on Saturday June 14, where athletes from official IAF member federation will first compete. However, if there are fewer than three (3) athletes/teams per category in the Open Seed Qualifier, OpenSeed Qualifying Round. The first (2) athletes/teams per country will be accepted.
How to Enter: Please contact the IAF HQ by email or fax anytime between now and April 30, 2008. you may download the Entry Form, and necessary releases from this site.

B. Compete at the IAF Member Affiliate's National Qualifying Event. If you will be able to go compete at an IAF affiliate country's qualifier prior to the Suzuki World Cup, before April 30, that athlete may qualify to go directly to the Suzuki World Cup Semi-Final Round in lieu of competing at the OpenSeed if and only if that athlete's competitive level and understanding of the Rules and Competition Regulations is deemed World Cup level by the IAF Affiliate qualifying event.

OPENSEED 2008 CATEGORIES OF COMPETITION:
If by April 30, 2008, only five (5) or fewer per category have registered to compete a the Semi-Finals, the respective category will be cancelled.
Youth Division:
Youth I (age fifteen (15) to age seventeen (17) by December 31, 2008)
Youth I Girls’ Single (one (1) girl athlete)
Youth I Boys’ Single (one(1) boy athlete)
Youth I Trio (three (3) athletes: any combination of boys and/or girls)
Youth II (age twelve (12) to age fourteen (14) by December 31, 2008)
Youth II Single (co-ed, one (1) boy or girl athlete)
Youth II Trio (three (3) athletes: any combination of boys and/or girls)
Adult Division: (age eighteen (18) and over by December 31, 2008)
Individual Woman (one (1) female athlete)
Individual Man (one (1) male athlete)
Mixed Pair (two (2) athletes: one (1) male and one (1) female)
Trio (three (3) athletes: any combination of males and females)
COMPETITION SCHEDULE (TENTATIVE):
June 12 Arrival and Accreditation
June 13 Welcome Meeting, Rehearsals, Podium Training • 18:00 - OpenSeed Round
June 14 Semi-Finals
June 15 Finals of the Suzuki World Cup 2008
June 16 Departure

ATHELTES ENTRY FEES:
10,000JPY(approx. US$90) per athlete per category. Open Seed athletes will receive a memorial T-shirt lunch boxes at the Tokyo Gym on June 13-15. Transportation between the official hotel and the competition venue will also be provided.
PRIZES AND AWARDS:
The total amount of 4,000,000 (approx. US$3,700) will be shared among 1st to 3rd ranked winners in all four (4) adult categories.

INSURANCE:
The IAF declines all responsibility in the event of illness and /or accident. The participants are responsible to arrange insurance at their own expense.
VISA:
For those participants who need a special invitation letter to obtain a visa for Japan, please contact IAF HQ as soon as possible, but no later than April 30, 2008.
ENTRY DEADLINE:
All the Entry Form and Releases must be filled out and sent to the IAF HQ by fax no later than April 30, 2008. Late entry will NOT be accepted.
